Hi, I know this may sound funny but I've been worried about a parcel that I ordered, 24 toilet rolls as I couldn't find any local I ordered off ebay, originally it said location London but when I paid it said China /Hong Kong and I tried to cancel because I was worried about the coronavirus on the product or packaging but they are not replying, is it likely its dangerous and I shouldn't accept the parcel? Thanks for the help.

A couple of things spring to mind:

(1) Will they actually ever arrive?
(2) Dread to think how much your Custom duties may be! They can't
be classed as a gift can they?

Oh for god's sake

I don't know about the customs duties, but given how long a parcel takes to get here from China, I shouldn't think there'd be any health risks from it. If you feel concerned, just give it a wash with hot soapy water before you open it.

Honestly speaking if your parcel is coming from hong kong. I would be less worried about CV from that country as they have it better controlled than over here by miles. They are one of the better countries at the moment. I would feel far more safer over there than here in uk. They never had to do a lockdown and deaths so far is 4 compared to UK which going on 400 here. They only have 280 confirmed cases compared to our 6,000 odd. They have had control measures since mid January. You should more worry about parcel coming from UK..Hmm
