How long will it stop weddings?

I know you don't all have a magic crystal ball so I want your genuine opinion.

Maid of honour for best friend, her wedding is mid-July, hen party is June.

On a scale of 1-10 how likely is it that her hen / wedding will be able to take place?

I keep reading how other brides say they "hope it will be over in June" but that seems unlikely. But I am clueless.

The hen is on my card so would be good to know what people think!

Her hen party is extremely unlikely to happen. Her wedding might but I’d expect it to be under the new rules, with 5 people maximum attending the ceremony whether it’s in a church or done by a registrar.

Hen definitely not a chance. Wedding ceremony maybe allowed but much much smaller no big reception.. This is not going to be quick.

You don’t know that. July is ages away - she could be fine.

A friend of mines wedding for early June has been cancelled. These a chance your friends may still go attend though would imagine it depends on the venue.

I've postponed my 17th July wedding today.

@bridecilla I'm so sorry that's upsetting. What made you decide to?

Hmmm looks like I'll need to speak to my insurance!

Someone also marrying at our venue has a planning insta that I stalk sometimes. She posted that she'd changed her date so I messaged her. She said the venue were running out of alternative dates so I thought I better!
