May be such a stupid question as I do understand that you see no friends or family other than the ones you live with but I don’t want to give my partner any wrong information.

Due to what Boris Johnson said tonight in his speech does this mean me, my OH and my DD cannot go to my in laws?

Thanks in advance for clarification.

Correct - you can't go.

SQuueze · 23/03/2020 21:44

Yes. You can only see people in your house.

dementedpixie · 23/03/2020 21:44

Yes you cannot go. You shouldn't have been going before tonight anyway

Lllot5 · 23/03/2020 21:44

Yes stay at home.

Definitely can’t go anywhere except work, essential food shop, pharmacy, medical appointment, exercise once day

Super. Thank you all for the clarification.

Also, if anyone has any idea on if I’m allowed to send parcels via the post office?? I’ve recently sold some old baby bits on eBay but don’t know the rules for this. I’m assuming it’s a no go?

You can't go to to your in-laws. Or any other family. Or friends,
You can go out for essential shopping (food), daily exercise, medial needs,

If we abuse this small amount of freedom (I'm not for a second suggesting that you would), things will get even worse in terms of restrictions and, more importantly, deaths,

"You should not be meeting family members who do not live in your home."

Is what he said.
