Self isolating and SSP

AliciaWhiskers · 23/03/2020 21:30

I am self isolating as my son has symptoms, so I will be off work for 2 weeks.

I work for the NHS.

Am I entitled to SSP, and how do I go about claiming it, or do my workplace sort it out? It mentioned about getting a sick note, but surely 111/GPs are too snowed under to be doing those at the moment?

Go onto 111 online and you will be able to obtain an isolation note from there. They will email it to you and you give it to your employer. Yes you will be entitled to ssp with it.
