12 week isolation - hospital appointment?

I'm on the list as being someone who now has to self-isolate due to imunnosuppresant medication. I'm due my intravenous medication on Friday (I go every 6 weeks) so I presume I'll still be able to go?

Does self-isolation and a possible lockdown not include hospital appointments?

From what I'm gather most countries who have gone into lock down would allow you to a hospital visit/appointment as they are needed I think you would just need proof of appointment

It’s best to call tomorrow and just clarify. Some areas are cancelling outpatients but obviously if it’s important medication they may continue.

I have a similar dilemma. I've got a 2 week wait breast clinic appointment next week and I'm concerned about going. I've been isolating which feels a bit fruitless if I then walk willingly into a hospital for this appointment.

I know, it's so confusing.

DH is still at work which seems to make my staying in pointless!

I think so, yes. I had to go for a blood test a few days ago and I have a hospital appointment this week. I spoke to the hospital today and it is still planned to go ahead. Quite anxious about it.

Ineednewshoes I heard from my trust are still going to be doing urgent two week wait cancer appointments and urgent surgeries so I would think that will go ahead.
