Can I stop self isolating?

Gov guidelines all refer to original person self isolating from rest of family for 7 days but what if they continue to be ill after 7 days?
I am on 12. Temp still high.

Do you live with others? They should all have been self-isolating with you up until day 14 anyway.

Has your family been self isolating? They should be self isolating for 14 days if they live with you. You can have contact with them again when your temperature has ceased, so long as it's been at least 7 days which you say it has

Yes we have been playing it by the book. Whole family have been inside and I have been in separate room.

You would self isolate until you feel well and your temperature is under control (I would imagine). Are you improving at all? If you arent I would contact 111

Thank you just read the temperature bit. Will stay here until temperature down. Don’t feel great but also going bit mad

You will have to wait until your temp returns to normal. I’m a healthcare worker and was told I can come back to work after 7 days as long as I didn’t have a temp. Doesn’t matter if the cough persists because this can last long after the virus

From online:

In the UK, you should look on the dedicatedcoronavirus NHS 111 websitefor information. If you get worse or your symptoms last longer than seven days, you should call NHS 111. People will no longer be tested for the virus unless they are in hospital.

You need to be 3 days clear of a fever before you can stop. It does say this somewhere but not well publicised

Thank you so much. I am staying put.
It’s a very long time now.
