Hurrah - my mental health has just shot back up! I'm convinced that when you feel "of use" but not in danger that's when you're happiest.

I'm an IP lawyer and I've just used my 25 years' of experience to get a CD19 therapeutics deal between two companies rushed through. I was able to explain in 10 minutes why they needed to spell out A,B and C and why all the legalistic guff could then wait.

Also, I've waved from my balcony at my neighbour who lives alone on her balcony and listened a bit.

God I feel better now. It's so hard when the things you would usually do are counterproductive....

I've got back in touch with my mother after no contact for 2 years... (we have a difficult relationship!) - she was delighted to hear from me again.

I'm a cosmetic tattooist. I closed my business on Sunday and have just donated all my PPE (face masks, gloves and alcohol wipes) to a local school who can't get hold of any.

Rather than sitting here getting scared - I suffer from Health Anxiety - I am busy cleaning my house and getting it sparkling. Cleared out cupboards, cleaned the oven, feeling much more positive now.

I am going to work tomorrow, to look after the children of nurses working at a major hospital. I'm proud that I can do something tiny to help.

My sons college have said no one needs any qualifications to get into their college course. My son has had medical problems over the last year that had caused him to miss lots of school. He has worked so hard to catch up and has spent hour and hours revising I cannot tell u how proud I am of the work and effort he had put in.
Me it this has been a weight of my mind and today I feel better.

Really small thing, but I messaged my neighbour who’s a single mum to say we could get her any shopping if she was stuck, and also that we could sit with or have DC here if she needed to pop out. (Both my DP and I are DBS checked for work, and know DC, just in case anyone thinks that is weird - DC love our cat!)

I also bought a voucher for the salon I go to which has now closed. The staff are all self-employed, so people buying vouchers now will be a big help.
