Hi all
I'm classed as a key worker as I pay people their pension. I unfortunately have to go to work regardless of the current situation. DH isn't a key worker but his work isn't closed yet. Our hope is that his work will close soon so that he can stay at home with our 11 month DS. My dad usually has DS for one day a week, he doesn't fall into the vulnerable category etc, is it still okay for DS to be with him for one day a week? DS also goes to nursery 1 day a week but I've been considering giving DS to my dad on this day too so that there isn't as much strain on the nursery which is still open for key worker children. DH can't afford to not work for a few weeks to care for DS as I'm only part time so we rely on his wage. Fingers crossed his work will close soon so this won't be an issue but just needed advice on what I should do?
We've been self isolating as a family (the tree of us) for a week already due to DS having a temp though that's gone and it seems it's just down to teething but taking the precaution incase.
