Help with self isolating

Hi

After some advice, I am a keyworker although it's not front line, but it's a job where I'm in constant contact with people and children.

I have a 9 month old who would be attending nursery because of this (I have no other option) I am absolutely terrified and contemplating self isolating and keeping baby off with me.

My question is, would I be eligible for any financial help with no symptoms? I have a mortgage so also wondered about the mortgage holiday? I am aware I should contact citizens advice but wondered if anyone could help here.

Please no hate I am just a worried mum but completely understand other people are more deserving of help.

Thank you

I'm a frontline keyworker so is DH, we have a 15 month old he will be going to nursery, because we knew when we got into our industries what our obligations were. It's your call.

Young children have the absolute lowest risk for this, v v v low.

If too many key workers stay home, then the whole system won't work

NHS staff, supermarket workers etc mostly have families too
Would you expect them to keep working to supply food and medical care if your family need them?

I'm not frontline.

To be honest I'll probably be going into work but I'm more worried about my baby being at nursery, as I have no other childcare, this is why I'm asking.

Just weighing up options, if there are any.

You wouldn't be entitled to anything apart from a mortgage break, and you'd have to lie to get that. U less you are ill of course.

Ok thank you everyone, I'll be going into work & baby will have to go nursery.

Thanks for replies Smile
