If not lockdown what next?

I don't think we are going to be seeing a lockdown.

What happens next? Bills being pushed through parliament today to give the government extra powers. Police AND army mentioned yesterday to help with making sure vulnerable get supplies so suspect the army are going to be mobilised. There was also discussion about parks/beauty spots and essential journeys not including going to holiday homes.

I am hoping they start having a police/army presence on beauty spots. That other than genuinely necessary journeys we have to stay within a certain distance of our homes and that this is enforced with spot checks and ANPR technology.

I am praying we don't get a full lockdown.

I am hoping for no lockdown however, seeing so many arseholes out at the weekend trying to climb mountains, in parks etc I can’t see any other option. The brits are not listening.

I know it's so fucking frustrating.

If people just stayed home, went to the supermarket for their essentials and basics that they genuinely need, and just were sensible about where they enjoy the outdoors it would mean that lockdown wouldn't be necessary and everyone doesn't have to suffer because of the selfish, arrogant bastards that think the rules don't apply to them.

There is a lot of outside to enjoy. You don't have to go to the prettiest bit. I'd be happy if we can just walk on the paths and trails we have locally but a full Italian style lockdown will be so much more difficult psychologically. Especially for children.
