People seem to think they will never catch Corvus-19 if they stay in for a few weeks ?!

I get why the government don't want the vulnerable to catch it, as they would need more care and most likely to be hospitalised. But now it's out there it won't just go away completely. How can people stay in forever ?

*I know I don't understand either. It is never going to go away now it's out there.

It will be only take 1 person in the world somewhere to have it and it will all start up again.

How will we be reintroduced back into normal life without a massive surge in cases*

I'm scared that the virus will mutate and become much deadlier for young people

Ok I understand that people are feeling panicky, it's a difficult time and lots of horror stories are being shared to try to hit home to people how serious this is and that they MUST follow lockdown guidelines..... quite rightly.

However, rather than continually posting the same panic stricken speculation and drawing other people into it, can I suggest that you have a look at some science based articles and arm yourself with some facts. Yes this is very, very serious right now but the resources of the world are focussed on finding treatments, tests and vaccines. In a relatively short time we will be able to test more efficiently, treat it more effectively and eventually vaccinate against it. It will not be like this forever.

Also, regarding the mutation, doesn't evidence show that viruses get weaker when they mutate, not stronger?
