Your not infectious on day 8 that's why you can stop self isolating so in effect yes but of course you can't return to normal because

You don't definitely know your immune without antibody test

Were you tested initially so definitely know it was CV

There is no normal. We are all restricted to social distancing anyway.

I think there’s been cases of people testing negative and then positive again so we don’t know about immunity yet really, hence the advice for everyone to practice social distancing.
