D&V- is this a symptom?

My friend has had diarrhoea and been vomiting for around 3 days now. I have seen people say it can be a symptom for Corona but not seen this in the news etc.

Can anyone who has had it/thinks they have it offer any advice? I know this will be anecdotal but I am curious.

I dont think I have it, but have read that these can be early symptoms, but can also be down to a whole host of other things (most likely os S&D bug)
Any other symptoms?
Try not to worry, get some rest, see how you go, but just as a precaution, keep your distance from family members if you can, use your own towel etc, and avoid ibuprofen and self isolate for 14 days if possible.
