Sex and Coronavirus?

I haven't seen anything about it but thinking of how it gets spread, I wondered how having sex is related....

So, had a google. This came up.

Oh, and don't think I'm panic-spreading. Worked at the Aids Org. in my past. I'm just into information, cos I like to be clued up.

Well, ... I mean ... the thing survives on surfaces and also demonstrably spreads via droplets. Plus maybe other forms of contact.

I may be doing sex wrong - but, I mean, no way am I ever going to have sex with anyone unless I've let them come close enough for them to already have infected me with whatever they already have that spreads this way.

Even if it's not carried in sexual fluids, the necessary close proximity plus any kissing etc would be enough to make having sex a risky activity for catching it or passing it on.

Not really sure why you think this is noteworthy, of course if you have a virus and have sex with someone they're likely to pick it up.

Unless you're shagging the whole world, probably won't make that much difference.

I don’t think this can be classed as panic-spreading, as most people who are worried about the virus will have figured out that getting close enough to have sex will be close enough to pass it on

I'm assuming if DH has it I've got it too.... With or without sex.
I'm not stopping having sex. It's something we're planning on doing more of while we have more time on our hands.
