For those who have had it? Just wonder as I’ve developed a cough overnight but feel otherwise ok.

Of course I’ll be staying in now.

Most people haven’t been tested so would not know. I have enough of the symptoms to prompt my doctor to get me tested (not in the UK) and I don’t have it. Remember all the usual bugs are still going around. Still best to self isolate though.

Roostersmum2 · 22/03/2020 19:00

What symptoms are they? @TKAAHUARTG

I'm another who suspects I may have but trying to divert my thinking more toward common sense and it being something run of the mill and harmless

FaithInfinity · 22/03/2020 19:01

The only confirmed cases in my area have been really ill so people like that won’t be well enough to comment on MN!

I’m self-isolating - I started with a sore throat, next day the odd cough, by third day I was coughing a lot (I am asthmatic) I feel like I have a weight on my chest, I’m breathless and it hurts to breathe. No idea if it is CV or just a viral chest infection but I feel pants.

PicsInRed · 22/03/2020 19:03

I just felt horrendously strange and dizzy. Cough and chest came later along with that sense of smell symptom which seemed to be sinus related. Child had his worst sore throat ever. He was absolutely beside himself. Also complained of feeling strange.

TKAAHUARTG · 22/03/2020 19:04

Cough and shallow breathing. But I don’t have a temperature. I think I was sent for a test because I travel a lot (and my state have lots of drive through testing points). The symptoms that did not point to CV were sore throat and congestion. I have a cold, nothing more.

NuovaMoi · 22/03/2020 19:05

I’m not worried for myself just don’t want to be that person that spreads things around.

I was totally fine then woke with a bad dry cough and a tight chest. But as pps say also I have asthma so this isn’t totally unusual for me, although it would be unusual for this time of year

Itchy eyes. That was my first symptom

Mrhodgeymaheg · 22/03/2020 19:10

Casino218

Have you tested positive? I had burning itchy eyes yesterday and today feel nauseous and off my food totally, which is definitely unusual for me. Fmstarting to feel weak and achy too, but no cough or fever, so thinking it is something else.

Iooselipssinkships · 22/03/2020 19:11

Last Sunday my temp was really high with muscle aches and feeling out of it. For 3 days I was really ill and my temp went up to 41, I'm only just recovering from it. Dry cough by the second day but not persistent nor continuous.
I don't think I had it but my partner and Mum were adamant.

Casino218 · 22/03/2020 19:58

@Mrhodgeymaheg no because they literally don't test until you are critical! Or you are a celebrity!

I've completed the 111 assessment as every other commoner is expected to do unless you are considered so important ( a celebrity) that you can wangle a test!

So I guess I don't know ( but I'm a respiratory nurse) but even that doesn't seem to count on Mumsnet so who knows.

Personally if I would you I would isolate.

I think I need to step away from social media 😁
