Embarrassed to be English

All of my neighbours have family over. The entire street is chocker with cars...England will be doomed. At the very least we will be the laughing stock of the world.

No more so than Italy

That was a shit show and still is.

I think it was the same in Italy and that is why they had to go into lock down.

Same is happening in Australia, it's not just the English

It's been the same in other places around the UK.

I'm not English so; sorry if this is insensitive but, why are you guys so hard on yourselves? This isn't just an English thing - it's a human nature thing. The Irish did it, the Italians did it, the Iranians did it. Even the Chinese did it until they were forced to stop. You are good people, but unbelievable self critical.

In some parts of USA apparently they also stock piled guns.

I'm not critising myself, just the ignorant people around me. I am asthmatic and 29 weeks pregnant so we as a family have been self isolating for 2 weeks now. I just don't know what it will take to get through to the people choosing not to take precautions seriously. "It's just government advice, it's not enforced" I heard today
