Just watching her on TV. Her advice is much clearer than Johnson's. She is very decisive, not asking nicely but telling people what they need to do. Is it me or do others feel the same?

Horehound, I don't blame you. I listen to Nicole Sturgeon and Leo Varadkar and then look at Boris and there just isn't any comparison is there. How the hell did we end up with Boris?

She is a very competent politician. I disagree with the basic premise of her party but she speaks exceptionally well on other subjects.

I love nicola sturgeon, she is a great example of good leadership. I don't agree with all her politics but I'm very happy she is at the helm here in Scotland.
I imagine BoJo is thinking to himself that this wasn't what he signed up for. it's turning out to be quite hard work now. Poor ickle manchild.

I don't want to sound sexist because I know there are competent men out there but the three women on stage in Scotland sound a hell of a lot more competent than Boris and co.

To add balance I thought Sadiq Khan was a lot clearer than Boris as well. Maybe everyone is just clearer than Boris?

She is an appalling politician who gives no fucks about the people of Scotland. None. She has one agenda only and she’ll do anything to get it

I like Nicola Sturgeon. She's a good first Minister.

Couldn't agree more, a clear and decisive leader which is what we need right now.

I am in Scotland not a Nicola fan normally but think she is handling situation well

I don't particularly like her political stance on a few things, but she is decisive and firm. Unlike "Come on now, lets be decent" Johnson, who will have to do something fast because the situation is out of hand.

I thought she spoke really well, not making any difference though still people are on about pubs open on the quiet, "they have bills to pay"!!

But not competent enough to have closed Scotland's pubs and cafes. (BBC reporting some remain open, because Scotland lacks the necessary legislation).

Mirada she has told them to close, she has told them the legislation is coming, she was perfectly clear and no decent adult should do anything other than she has asked. Compare that to Boris and "please be reasonable in your shopping, be considerate and thoughtful of others." Sounds more like a sermon than a politician leading a country.

@Mirada right. So if she doesn't have the legal power to do it, how do you think she can enforce it??

By passing the legislation, obviously.

And that is what she is doing. She can't just snap her fingers, there are processes.
