Rearranging UK breaks

Obviously there are more pressing things to worry about but: I have a long weekend away booked in the Lakes in the middle of April through booking.com, there wasn't an option to pay extra for free cancellation so earlier this week I messaged the B&B to ask about swapping dates, they reassured me that they are keeping the property very clean but if I wanted to discuss swapping dates to call them.

Obviously now everything is getting shut down I don't really have much choice but I'm wondering whether to see if I can swap to when DH has holiday booked at the beginning of August or if that's being too optimistic and to try and swap to the same time next year but there's no guarantee DH will get the same dates agreed for his annual leave. We are somewhat limited as I'm a teacher so can only go in school holidays.

What is everyone else doing?

I've rebooked center parcs for September (was meant to go tomorrow) but I honestly don't know if it will happen. And to be honest. I don't believe it will till we pull up through the gates and check in!
I'd like to hope August would be okay but I am dubious.

We were going to the Cotswolds for a week starting tomorrow. Have postponed and they have rebooked it for October for us. Not sure even that will happen but it seemed the best option at the moment. We do have travel insurance that covers the UK but until lockdown I don't think we can claim. In your position I'd swap to next year, then you don't have to worry for a while.

Thanks both, I suppose at least if DH can't get the leave I could take someone else with me or try and sell it on. Will wait to see what the B&B say.
