Health care workers and CV

It keeps dawning on me just how frontline health care workers are to CV. I’ve seen some reports on nurses and doctors in other countries who have contracted it, or even died from it.

How are these people protected? Who is looking out for them? Surely there is going to be shortage of these roles soon given how highly exposed they are? How will health care systems cope then?

They are horrifically exposed, no ppe and no testing even if they have a 40 degree temperature. Patients tests taking 4-5 days to come back.

So what happens when they all fall ill? Who looks after them? Who looks after us?

No PPE to be used unless the patient is displaying symptoms and of course you’re infectious before then. We only have the surgical masks, no FP3 ones.

Crazy stuff Sad

I saw some else say it’s like being on a speeding train ready for a wreck and it really does feel like that...
