I'm in a quandary.

I'm renting in London. Rent is super expensive and my lease expires in a few months. I need to decide whether to renew it or not this week.

Not renewing it means looking for properties and moving when it's hard to say what will happen in the near future. If I stay I worry about affording it if anything happens. I know this would be a concern even if I move somewhere cheaper.

Is anyone going through the same process?

Have a chat with your landlord and see if they will reduce your rent in the circumstances? They won’t want to have to start trying to find a new tenant at the moment either.

I will do Venus. I hope they’ll be more flexible with the lockdown in place.
Rents are so high here but moving at this time is going to be so stressful,

It isn't like your landlord can get a new tenant. The estate agents around me closed 2 weeks ago as they were getting no business.
