My dd is nearly 13, we have been home from Monday and she has been on her ipad and phone everyday for most of the day.

I have also been teaching her how to cook and clean as it is just the two of us and she needs to know how to cook incase i get ill.

I will be creating a schedule for dd from monday and i will be limiting the use of her electronics etc untill after school time.

Is anyone else finding it difficult to get dcs off the electronics and to make them more productive?

We will limit screen time, yes. They only broke up on Friday so haven't actually implemented anything yet, but I think it will be essential.

We'll start with explaining why it needs to be limited and give them a chance to self-regulate, but will make rules/take screens away if necessary.

Yes I will. My oldest would sit on his xbox all day if I allowed it. They have already been told we will be doing school work, projects and physical activities. I will still be wfh so can't entertain them all the time though.
