Are you still expected to travel into the office? My employer won't let us work from home. We provide a non essential part of the operation that doesn't generate any revenue. I'm scared for my safety and mental wellbeing. I don't fall into a high risk category so they won't let me take paid time off.

Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to wait to get sick or for the government to put us on lock down?

At the moment we are all sitting at our usual desks. Can I insist we are spaced 2 meters apart as recommended when social distancing? I hate being awkward but I wondered if they refused my request it would give me grounds to isolate. I'm very scared at the moment and my mental heath and anxiety is suffering. A family member just lost their job yesterday so I'm a bit panicked by this.

Thanks in advance for any kind or supportive advice.

Giving this a bump as I'd like to know if It's unreasonable to insist on 2 meter distancing in the workplace for a non-essential role at the moment.
