My husband works in retail and they still have people coming in for Aircon checks for their car, or an air freshener.

Use your fucking brains. My husband’s company will not close whilst you are going in for useless, non essential goods.

I don't think people in this country are actually capable of thinking after observing the chaos out there at the moment. Unfortunately, they're going to take some of us with them when they go under.

On my local area Facebook page, someone posted today asking if the William Hill was open.

Another person asking whether the tip was open as they had some broken fence panels to get rid of.

Totally unnecessary trips.

I had today off but last week was soul destroying. People shopping like lunatics, shopping for things that they really don't need to be buying. Bringing their kids, elderly people shopping in the busiest times. We've had numerous people kicking off at restrictions and lack of essentials. The new social distancing at the tills, the request to pay by card and not cash. I don't understand why all retailers who do not sell food or essential home maintenance products are still open? Coffee shops and fast food outlets should be closed unless drive through. Even the local pubs and restaurants are offering takeaway services where you can order what you want and go pick it up. My Facebook is full of people arranging meet ups having friends and family over, taking the kids to the parks and beaches. I don't get it. Are they really that unaware of what we are facing. I wake up everyday and shit myself about having to go to work. I stress about the fact I use public transport to get to work or face an hour and half walk to work and the same again to get home after working 10-12 hours as we are overwhelmed and short staffed. I worry I'm going to catch this virus and bring it home to my kids. My 16 year old is looking after my 5 and 6 year old so I can go to work. I feel like I am failing them all. I just want to scream at all the selfish people to grow up and stay home.

My husband went a bit bonkers at the students who went out on the lash last night... how could they not understand they may now have it.. and pass to him.. and then to me who is at risk and our 5 year old. Who then ends up where if we are hospitalised or die...
