Moral dilemma, key worker

I'm a secondary school librarian and have been told I'm a key worker by the Head. I'm therefore expected in on Monday as usual.

However, I have a slight heart issue that was supposed be reviewed a week ago but the hospital had to cancel.

About four years ago I was prescribed some spray for angina, and have used it only once or twice in all that time. My only pack of it is now out of date.

I am worried. I have DC and need to remain healthy for them.

However, apart from the odd twinge in the chest, I feel fine.

I also didn't mention this on my job application which I filled in only a year ago because I'd genuinely forgotten about it. It doesn't affect my life at all.

If I go to work, I help vulnerable people. However, I may risk my life and therefore my DCs' future.

I can't decide what to do. Such a worry.

No, you're not critical. Tell the Head you have an underlying heart condition and you are self-isolating for the next 12 weeks.
