Dad is 79, mum 75. Mums just had an operation on Monday and is back home.
However dad does stuff at the church a lot and sent an email saying he's still doing, but just one other family there. Meaning his mate and wife, who have a gazillion children and gc. They sort of live off grid and all in one house.

I've told him just not to go as he's not invincible just because it's a church thing.

I get told off for being pessimistic Angry

I’ve seen a lot of posts like this today. If they have all their faculties about them, then they are adults and can do as they wish really.

We can’t lock people inside just because they’re over 70. You can advise, and offer to help in any way you can, but they’re adults who can make their own decisions.
