So back from uni
19 years old ,out at the pub last night ,today he tells me ,he’s still planning on playing footy with his old school mates ,no intention of staying in.

I’ve walked the dog this morning, the park I walked past was full of families all laughing and kids running round ,I counted 20 kids in the park on swings and slides
Walking the dog ,the whole world seemed to be out ,I never walk past that many people Usually on a Saturday morning.

Mintychoc Ok. So let's say even just one of the children has the CV. They could well feel perfectly ok and have no symptoms. The virus is transmitted through the mucus membranes in the eye, nose and mouth. Hence the "Don't touch your face" message.

Good advice I've heard is act as though you have the virus and are contagious. Because you could well be, right now, and have no symptoms. So, put your hand on your heart and tell me that none of those children ever went within 4 metres of each other - the droplets can spread that far. Not one ever touched their face, then touched something else - the ball? - that another then touched, who then touched their face. Never touched each others clothes, water bottle, packet of sweets?

You know the answer.

I bet if you found out tomorrow that a certain brand of food aimed at children had a risk of increasing their risk of cancer you'd throw it away, never buy it again, write to somebody and complain. That's just a risk. This is real, it's here, today.

Watch the BBC news report that came on today, from the Intensive Care Unit in Cremona, Italy. How do you want to look back on this, assuming you're ok? As the laid back parent who went to the park to keep her kids happy, or the responsible citizen who took action based on medical expertise and a tsunami of death and misery in other countries.

Take your pick.

In our local huge Tesco there was a queue outside (with 6ft distance between two people) because they were controlling the numbers of people inside. When one left, they let another one in. Same with waiting to pay.). It’s possible to arrange, you know.

@thismoment shouldn't those jobs be for adults with rent and bills etc who have lost their jobs?
