My five year old has a cough, we are of course self isolating. It started yesterday but is a lot more frequent today. She does however have a runny nose and did have a few days before the cough started. No temperature and completely fine in herself.

I suffer v.badly from anxiety and am on shitbricks if theres a normal cold going around so I am really, really struggling right now. Not sure what Im actually asking for Im just really not copying well at all

Deal just with the now. Cuddle up on the sofa, give calpol if she needs it, cuppa for you.

Be gentle with yourself. Be kind.

Don't worry OP. Chances are it's not Coronavirus. Even if it is, chances are she'll have it mildly. I know it's hard but try not to panic.

You are doing the right thing. Just take it day by day. You are looking after your DD, that is all you need to do.
