Dd and medication. Can anyone help?

Dd is 24 and has had symptoms since Monday- cough, v sore throat, achy. Symptoms getting worse each day.
She’s not sure what medication she can take, can she take Codeine or Night nurse? She tried to phone 111 but the introductory voice says unless you’re having difficulty breathing, please hang up!!

Paracetamol is the government advice

Thanks Sugar, yes I know but dies that mean nothing else? Night nurse has Paracetamol in it so was wandering if that’s ok.

I’m just so bloody angry that she is being told not to phone her Dr and not to phone 111. How are people meant to get help and advice is this country?
