Single parent and symptoms

A friend and I have been discussing what they would do were they to get a cough or temperature. They’re a single parent already self isolating because she’s asthmatic, with two junior school age children.

If she comes down with suspected CV does she just carry on as she has been and just clean her hands, surfaces etc even more or are there guidelines for this that we’re unaware of?

She’s obviously trying really hard not to worry but she’s concerned she will put her DF at unnecessary risk if she gets it wrong.

Yes carry on, extra hand washing, surface cleaning, distance as much as practically possible (no kissed on the face/ head for example).

Her child would then need to completely self-isolate from others for 14 days. Or from 7 days from the point they develop symptoms

Ok thanks wow being potentially scarily ill with breathing issues and young children on your ownShock

I wish anyone in this position all the best.
