How long do you think schools will remain open?

Currently my school and many others are open to provide care to the children of key workers. However, watching the rapidly escalating situation in Italy has left me wondering how long we'll be able to do this for.

I know there's no way of knowing when / if the situation regarding schools and key worker children may change, but I wondered if anyone else feels like it might not last. Or has any idea what may happen to these children if we're unable to remain open, or the country goes into lockdown?

Who knows? We can all speculate but nobody has the answers.

I understand no one has the answers. I just wondered how long it might last, and what provisions might be in place for the children. Perhaps accounts of what other countries are doing / have done when faced with the same situation.
