2020 is going to be the year that no one gets the flu, pneumonia or even just a bad cough.

Because any one displaying the symptoms do the above conditions (and many many other conditions with similar symptoms) will presume corona.

2020 will no doubt record the lowest EVER levels of flu, pneumonia etc. When in fact, they were no doubt at very normal levels.

The estimated total number of cases will be considerably less accurate.

Deaths will still be pretty accurate, as people admitted to hospital are tested. And I dare say that outbreaks in care homes will,at lest have some sentinel tests

Yes I was thinking this.

Ds has a temperature, sore throat, earache and runny nose.

I'm worried he has a bacterial infection but he's being sacked off with conronavirus symptoms.

Although flu and colds will definitely be a lot down on normal as everyone is washing their hands so well and avoiding each other.

Just thought

The silver lining is that may halt human’s growing dependency on antibiotics as so many that would have benefited from antibiotics won’t be given them as assumed corona

I think it'll have a big impact on the rates of many stomach bugs and colds as we will be mixing less and washing hands better.
