Caring for elderly relative

My mother lives by herself. She is very fortunate in that she does get lots of help from friends who have been going shopping for her.
She is desparate for some company and I've been telling her to stay put and not come and stay with my family or my sister's because neither of us can really guarantee that we are free of the virus - I have two school age kids.
None of us have shown any symptoms so I am planning to go and see her by myself this weekend and definitely keep a very social distance 😬 I am however still worried sick about it.
Thoughts pls. Anyone in the same position. She is nearly 80 but in good health generally.
