Isolation notes

Does anyone know why isolation notes only cover 7 days? I’m a person with symptoms and live with family so 14 day isolation period but the note I’ve generated from 111 online only covers 7 days?

For each person with symptoms it's a 7 day isolation. If after 7 days your symptoms have gone you can leave, everyone else must stay in for 14 days to see if they develop symptoms. If they do they have to stay in for 7 days from when their symptoms start (so if they get symptoms on day 3 they can leave on day 10, if they get symptoms on day 13, they have to wait until day 20).
