Did they eventually close down all non essential workplaces? Or are they open if the employer wishes to remain so?
Dps employers are dicks at the best of times, he works in non essential industry and they have no plan in place for a possible lockdown, reliterating they are not closing. A big part of dps job involves distribution so I do wonder if other customers shut they won’t have anyone to deliver to, knowing dps bosses, they’ll just have him sweeping the yards.
Part of me is glad he’s still in for the moment as he will get full wage next week but part of me hopes they are forced to close and then he can provide childcare for dcs whilst I put myself on the frontline in h+s care, that way we will help the situation and gain money so we’re not 20% down, as for lots of people sailing close to the wind every month, 20% down is quite a hit.
