Hi my partner is due to be in court in England on the 26th. We was planning on travelling up from wales on the 25th as it will be a early sentencing in the morning. I have seen on the news that trains will be only running for key workers? The court sentencing is still proceeding so we will have to go. But we can't get there unless we on the train? We've been given a travel warrent from the council, Do you think the trains will let us on? Thanks

I don't think only running for key workers, how would that even work, it's the last hassle guards want. I can't find any info like that online. Do you have a link?

I Do Know that the timetables are being cut back from Monday 23rd. The services I have been on this week were almost empty, the companies must be losing a fortune.

Mumr19, what they are saying is that they would stop the services completely, due to lack of demand, but they know that messes up key workers. So they will take the huge economic hit & keep some services running.

It's a pledge to keep trains going, not saying only key workers can go on them.
