So the already rich get their 2500 a month !
And businesses get millions.
But still those in this great zero contract gig economy, inc supply teachers like me, now on ZERO income, get 1000 a year!! How can I live on £80 a month. I probably won't even apply.
It's so bitterly unfair that the rich are even more protected and everyone else left to die.

The zero contract workforce have been woefully unsupported so far. It's not right and I hope the government goes further to help and support them in terms of salary protection.

But someone whose income is £2500 a month is not rich. I'm not even clear if that's £2500 before IT and NI. It's unfair to be angry at them.

Can you provide a link - or at least a summary - of what you are talking about please ?

I thought it was £1000 a year extra on top of the UC standard allowance?

If you have no income you need to claim benefits asap. UC can't be backdated.
