Should be finding out in the next couple of hours. I think it will be universal credits, I just hope they do something about the 5 week waiting times.

If anyone is on tax credits still that would go up as income /profit went down. Presumably as with UC the minimum might be waived...not sure.(if there was one)

Was there something about a grant or was that just for small businesses rather than sole traders? Probably

Waiting patiently too..... I'm so anxious and stressed about all of this. Government advice and information from school so conflicting. I have been deemed a key worker.... civil service (I'm not really) DP is self employed, already massively reduced income without what little he may earn we will not survive... school asking me if the kids really need to go to school. No I don't want them to but we can't afford for them not to as I now have to go to work. Should have been closed for all except NHS and emergency services. We are renters so not covered by mortgage breaks.

Businesses that pay rates could get a £3000 grant from the council ... to pay rates with no doubt 🤣

Following- husbands a private specialist dentist and can't currently work due to this and no clarification on when dentistry can be reinstated. He dosent think he's going to work for 12/18 months. This surely can't be right!😭

Self-employed people seem to be royally screwed. I don’t know many self-employed people that can pay their rent / mortgage via the power of universal credit (I know we can’t) THANKS BORIS Angry

The only thing that is useful is having a tax break until January 2020, but then where are we meant to find the money to pay our tax back if we’ve had to use it on food and mortgage / rent. Also a 3 months break in mortgage is a great help, but what happens after that?

Need to start doing some heavy breathing before I start having a panic attack! Confused
