I'm in Ireland, where most people are taking Covid extremely seriously, I'm working in a customer facing roll where I get many varied questions, lots of which are nothing to do with my actual job but I answer anyway because I'm a nice person.
I've just had a guy walk in to ask a question, and as we were chatting he mentioned that his wife and kids have got the ferry from the UK, they live in London, and they decided to come over for a holiday because there's been a pretty large outbreak of "this flu thing"
I have 6 immediate family members with compromised immune system, 3 of them are severely compromised. The last time one of them caught a common cold, they ended up in an isolation room adjacent to CCU for 3 weeks. I can't see any one of them for fear of passing on anything, and selfish shits like this guy think it's okay to take a holiday because their kids might be bored!
Wise up, stay at home and don't travel anywhere that isn't your local supermarket or chemist-people are dying because stupid fcukers are refusing to alter their daily routine for a few short weeks!
