What is the cough like?

I can't find any descriptions online. Is it mild, heavy, barking? Like whooping cough is quite distinctive.

I know, self isolate anyway . I'm just interested so I can guess later.

A few weeks ago I was incredibly unwell for a couple of days with a niggly cough.

I’ve been wondering the same. I have what I’d call a very mild cough, It just feels like I need to clear my throat fairly often and it tickles a bit. I’ve also had a sore throat, tiredness, headache. I’m self isolating but I don’t know if it’s actually anything.

It’s a “dry, unproductive” cough.

I was wondering if it had a deep barking sound as well.

And if it turns to a chest infection (is that the same as pneumonia?) I guess it becomes productive?

I'm just curious as I don't really know what to expect

Mine is mild, I'm coughing once every ten minutes or so. Dry, non productive. Chest feels quite tight and there's a 'catch' when I inhale. Also feeling totally exhausted and achey all over. It's not a lot of fun but have felt so much worse with other bugs in the past

I wonder if that's what I had?
Chest infection, headache on the top of my head, couldn't move, looked yellow, feverish and a cough that just reoccurred but felt more irritating than deep.
