I wonder if any of you have contacted your MP about the current situation and the government don’t doing enough.
I have emailed my Mp and saw that somebody else on here had done the same. Perhaps we should all bombard our MPs and tell them to have a word with Boris.

My MP is so far up Johnson's backside, he probably hasn't got enough light to read an email by.

Flippetydip · 20/03/2020 13:04

What do you want them to be doing?

Dodie66 · 20/03/2020 13:57

Pressuring Boris to take stronger action

What stronger action and on what scientific basis?

Dodie66 · 20/03/2020 14:44

Not based on a scientific basis but on what is actually happening. One nurse said she works in a hospital and they are dropping like flies including staff. Another doctor said the hospital is already full with people that fought it 2 weeks ago and there are many more cases now. These are people on the front line pleading with people and government to do the right thing and close things down.

Thanks for the reminder I started drafting an email to my Mp earlier was interrupted by a phone call

Now sent.

We need much better control of the sale of supermarket goods and delivery slots reserved for those who really are vulnerable and we need the profiteers dealt with!
