Ocado - Editing Orders

Hi I've an order in for tomorrow which I need to edit. Website down and said yesterday that people would be contacted to edit orders. Has anyone received any contact or knows what's going on?

I don't think you can edit orders for tomorrow, it will just be a case of seeing what arrives and making do with that.

Their website says orders will be editable after tomorrow.

I couldn't edit my order for last week, but all fine apart from far too many apples so we are eating a lot of those! Similar for this week, I was able to edit on Sunday and Monday but haven't been able to since.

Just a case of wait and see, hopefully next week's order will be easier.

Website says they will be contacting customers with deliveries from Saturday onwards. That suggests that they can be edited. If they can't then fair enough but that's not what the website says. It said Thursday and Friday can't be edited.

I was planning to add some things for an elderly relative.

I’ve got one for next week (Thursday) so hoping I can edit too. No idea what will actually turn up though.

Helpful if people can post what they actually receive vs what they ordered!

Does anyone know if you go back in to amend/edit an order- do you 100% keep all items already in your basket? Or does opening up to amend/edit mean you could loose items?

In the past you've always been fine keeping all items while amending, right up to the edit close time.

Just had an email from them

As you may know, we made the call to temporarily suspend access to ocado.com until Saturday.
We have been working round the clock to make sure everyone gets their order. Given unprecedented demand, our warehouses are already at full capacity for this weekend. As a result, for this weekend only, we have had to make changes to the editing process.
You will only be able to remove products you don’t want, or cancel your order if you no longer need it. Unfortunately, this means you won’t be able to add any more products, or increase the quantity of any products already in your trolley.

The website now says "The website is currently only available for customers with a delivery booked for this Saturday and Sunday."

So those with weekend orders may be able to now sign in?

It’s really annoying we can’t add anything. I’ve got three children at home now as we have been self isolating since Tuesday- I was relying on being able to add to my order to cover the extra food needed.

Glittercandle I agree, I had been relying on doing some shopping for my mum.

I'm now in the virtual queue because I want to remove some dog food which I managed to source from my normal independent supplier.

No idea how long it will take to get through as this time there is no indication of my position. My bet is loads of people are trying to get on even though they are not receiving a delivery over the weekend.

You cannot get on if you don't have a weekend order. You just get a message instead - no queuing.

You can, I've opened a new browser page and anyone joins the queue who opens it. They are just told to close it if they don't have an order on Saturday or Sunday. Whether they will is a different matter.

I have an order that is due to be delivered on Sunday when I go to the website I am not added to the queue it just says close the page.

I haven't received any email from Ocado about my delivery tomorrow. I really do need to add to it.

I’ve had the email for my order tomorrow, but when I follow the link it just takes me to the page that tells you the site is closed. I have no idea what’s coming tomorrow (I placed the order last week) but I suppose something is better than nothing. When I saw the email I assumed they were cancelling my order altogether.

If you have an order for tomorrow or Sunday you’ll be sent a link to log on. You can remove items but not add anything.

I still haven't received an email. I was in the virtual queue for ages. A link to the log in page suddenly appeared.

I can confirm that you cannot add to your order nor edit any order that is not for tomorrow/Sunday.

We've not got very much coming as I rather naively left it quite late to edit and the website was down Wednesday and Thursday. It's my regular Saturday delivery and I normally leave editing it until Friday Sad

I have a delivery Sunday and just got the link. I could get in no problem and check the order. What was more worrying is that the Ocado reserved slot I normally have each week is saying unavailable for the next one. And when you click the link to rebook, they have removed all of them from what I can see. Looks like when they bring the site back up and running, it will be with major changes to the way they do bookings and they will not be honouring anyone slots.
