SEN children / EHCP

Hi there

My son is in Year 1 and has SEN. I am in regular meetings with the school and recently both the educational psychologist and an occupational therapist observed him that our local authority sent in. He is now getting extra support at school.
I only this week received another questionnaire/form to fill in to send back to our local CAMHS for a referral.

Does this mean he is not yet officially under an EHCP? I have filled in so many forms/questionnaires for various referrals over the past few years I've lost count of which department /what term they come under- so have no confirmation if he is under EHCP (yet). I really would like him to continue at school as his progress lately has been amazing. If anyone has a SEN child or would know, I'd be grateful. I've asked the office but they didn't confirm, so I can find out at pick up today.

I'd assume not if he doesn't have one yet. My son does, but if he went into school next week it would be at a different site, with different teachers, so very much not his usual routine or learning so I'm keeping him at home. The message is very much keep your children at home if you can.
