I was meant to be going to a family wedding in April, but sadly it has been cancelled due to Corona. I would like to send a little gift or token gesture to cheer them up. Any ideas? I'm struggling to think of any x

Are you coming to my wedding?!? I was getting married at the end of April and we have had lots of messages saying that people are sorry we've had to postpone the wedding.
For us it was a huge relief. We've spent weeks not knowing what's going on, whether it with go ahead and if it doesn't are we covered by insurance if the government doesn't shut down. When our venue offered us an alternative date we were relieved.
It's the love that matters in these times and we are just glad to be able to share it with all the people we planned on sharing it with rather than 50% of them and over a video conference.
Do they have a registry? Maybe gift them something small from that? But in all honesty as much as we were relieved and didn't need sympathy, it was lovely enough just getting messages from family and friends.
X

I’ve just sent my friend some flowers (April bride)

I'm sorry to hear you've had to postpone your wedding, but as you said, at least the worrying about whether or not it will go ahead is over.
Maybe I will send a card saying how much we are looking forward to celebrating together when it's rearranged x

That sounds like a beautiful thing to do!
