After a brutal lockdown the virus has slowed to almost stopping. China has a denser population and less stringent hygiene practices. But this thing can be gotten under control. Viruses are clever but so is the human immune system.

Immunity comes from vaccines, gaining immunity though infections takes generations and generations.

The ramification of this Herd immunity experiment will be incalculable.

It’s no experiment. Meet Mother Nature. She’s had 2.5 Bililion years creative time. The human race has been around for 200,000 we’re babies at best. We’re not that clever.

This IS good news.
If we're able to believe the figures.

I hope so. But I am rather over trusting of stuff like this.

I believe the stats from China. As they lift restrictions it will be interesting to see what happens.

However our strategy in the uk I agree with. Keep everyone home so they don’t get it and whilst the science catches up, so you can treat it, which looks likely on the coming weeks. A vaccine clearly later, but if they can treat it at the onset of symptoms then it’s panic over. People can be released when they know they can treat it and have enough drugs to do so.
