Not going to say too much as it could be outing but a family friend of my DP is currently intubated and being tested for coronovirus. He has underlying chronic medical conditions so is very high risk.
I am hoping this makes my DM be less complacent about the whole thing
She keeps saying that she is healthy etc with no underlying conditions so will be fine or not get it..yes,that I'd agree with up to a point but why keep on going out and mixing with others unnecessarily? The fact that a close friend could potentially have it and that another who came into contact with the close friend who is ill has to now self isolate should be enough to hopefully make her understand how serious this all really is.
