Has anyone else's child had a long lasting mild fever with no other symptoms

DD1 had a sore throat on Fri last week then temp of 37.5 on Sat, then a high temp of 39.5 on Sun with the shivers, then 38.5 on Mon. Since then she has cycled between normal and 38.1 or 38.2 but can't seem to shift the fever altogether. An occasional cough on Sat/Sun but not a bad one and no coughing since or other symptoms.
DD2 had a temp of 38.7 on Tuesday and since has done the same cycling between normal and just over 38 that her sister did. No cough or other symptoms.
They both seem fine, they are up and about, playing together, giggling etc.
I had a sore throat and temp of 37.5 on Sunday but temp has stayed normal since. No symptoms other than a bit of a tight chest in evening and just now a laughing fit set me off coughing and my chest now feels sore.
Does this fit what anyone else has had and if so how long might the fever hang around? If it weren't for my occasional tight chest and the length of time DD1 has had a fever, I would say this is too mild to be CV but none of us have ever had symptoms like it before.
We are isolating of course.

I've had a temp of between 37.7 and 38.3 for the past 2 days so we're now isolating. I generally feel fine except for loss of appetite. I have had to go off work but I feel like a fraud!
