Zooplus - anyone else having issues?

I placed my usual monthly cat food order with them on Monday morning, then got an email on Tuesday saying to expect delays. It's now Thursday afternoon and I've had no further update. Is anyone else experiencing issues?

I ordered cat litter on Monday and it's just been delivered this afternoon, no delays whatsoever. Might be a different story with food though...

Mine arrived yesterday, with DHL instead of DPD though. I think they had since added warnings of further delays though.

I'm absolutely unable to get cat litter at the moment and getting worried. I usually get it from Ocado/Fetch or Pets at Home and they are either cancelling my orders/not delivering it, or just saying it's delayed up to 14 days (Pets at Home). I think I would feel a lot calmer if I could just buy some litter!

Zooplus are based in Germany and are probably having difficulty shipping orders due to the current problems in Europe.

Pets At Home stores are getting their deliveries as normal so if you are in the position of being able to get to a store or get someone to go for you that's the route I would take. Good luck.

I ordered food on Tuesday and got a dispatch notice today for 1/2 parcels. Last time Zooplus split an order like that was due to stock issues - one box arrived quickly, and then a smaller box arrived over a week later from Germany(!)

So I think you might get lucky and have quick delivery for items currently in stock, but a delay means they're either waiting for more stock or are sending it from a non-UK warehouse.

Just fyi if anyone buys Lily's Kitchen, I just placed an online order with them and they seemed to be pretty well-stocked for both dog and cat food. Fingers crossed the delivery will arrive as planned.

Zooplus have taken my money too, which will make things difficult money-wise if I end up needing to order/buy from somewhere else. They said the delay is a result of high demand, but if it's due to them having difficulty shipping from Germany (as a pp suggested) then I'd rather they let me know!

Pets at Home are now saying standard deliveries will take 10 working days.

Thanks @psychedelephant - annoyingly my incredibly fussy cat won't eat Lily's Kitchen, despite it being top quality stuff!

Zooplus now saying five extra days for delivery on their website (it was four days earlier).

I ended up ordering from Fetch instead and they delivered next day, figure we’ll still use the zoo plus stuff when it turns up

Pets at Home website now says 14 days for both delivery and store collection (if you order online and reserve it to pick up in store).

@sofiathe2nd when did you place your order with Fetch? It's saying that courier deliveries are likely to receive long delays, but I might give them a go...

I ordered Monday and it arrived yesterday. It was quicker than I expected as there was a note with the order saying it could be 4-5 working days due to how busy they are

I ordered from Zooplus on 14/3 & received my order today = happy kitty 😸

Ordered cat food on the 15th. Notified of a delay. Email this morning saying it had been dispatched.

Quick update - I've just had an email from Zooplus saying my order has been dispatched. Relief!

The non-cat litter half of my order is on its way.... still unconfirmed when the litter will come!
