Easy Skype/FaceTime type thing for the elderly?

My 84 yr old mum is in isolation for 12 weeks on her own.
We want to be able to FaceTime or similar to keep her spirits up but she's not tech savvy at all, just about manages to text on her very basic phone, so need something very simple to use.
Does anyone know of anything suitable we could buy her?

the KOMP sounds suitable. its made for seniors, so is very easy to use. you can facetime her and it will come through the komp, (however you have to initiate the calls, and if her KOMP isn't on then you need to phone her and ask her to turn it on from the plug, since it only has one button)

Messenger which is a facebook add on? You can do visual chat as well as voice.

Does she have broadband?
We are in the process of setting my dad up with an old iPhone and a SIM card with lots of data so we can FaceTime him - not sure how successful it will be!

Thank you everyone, we've set her up with an iPad & clear written instructions of what buttons to press 😊
She is now much happier & FaceTiming us all day, though we only get to see the top of her forehead mostly bless her 😄
