New continuous cough

So they’ve changed the information on the nhs website under new continuous cough. It has got me a little confused.

It now says – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).

Does this mean coughing non stop for more than an hour long without a break. And what really is an episode of coughing? Sorry I sound so stupid.

I'd go with anything that is new and isn't just an odd tickle

@lubeybooby

I thought that but they keep changing the description. It’s hard to know what they are looking for. I wish they would thoroughly explain things for those that are really dumb like me Blush
