My DS (nearly 3) has a range of health and developmental issues. He doesn't have a SW and his pre-school were planning to apply for an EHCP in the next few weeks. I know the process if quite tough but we are pretty confident that he would get an EHCP.
Does anyone know how children who are waiting for an EHCP might be treated? His pre-school has closed but he has a childminder who would like to stay open and take him while me and DH continue to work.
We are not key workers or essential in any way, but I am worried that he will miss out on crucial early intervention work if we have to take him out of childcare for several months.
